We are looking for a Litigation Paralegal who will play a key role in supporting our attorneys throughout all phases of litigation including managing discovery, preparing case files for hearings, depositions, and trial, and maintaining effective communication with clients, experts, and opposing counsel.

Responsibilities:

· Provide comprehensive litigation support to attorneys throughout all phases of case management, from intake through trial.

· Oversee attorney schedules by accurately managing calendars, coordinating deadlines, tracking hearings, depositions, and trial dates.

· Maintain precise calendaring all court dates, statutory deadlines, hearings, depositions, trial dates.

· Draft, propound, and respond to discovery requests while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strategic alignment with case objectives.

· Prepare, review, and finalize legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery, with strong attention to detail in proofreading, citation checking, and formatting.

· Manage service and filing of pleadings, motions, and other documents.

· Organize, maintain, and update case files.

· Communicate with clients, experts, courts, and defense counsel.

Skills:

Experience: 2+ years of prior experience working in a law firm (litigation experience preferred).

Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and maintain positive relationships.

Client management: Ability to manage client expectations and ensure positive customer retention throughout the case.

Attention to details: Ability to execute the intake process efficiently and accurately.

Problem-solving skills: Ability to effectively handle client inquiries and resolve issues.

Time management: Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

Adaptability: Ability to learn and adapt to new tools and resources provided by the firm.

Customer service orientation: Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive client experience.

Multilingual: Fluency in English (Spanish is a plus)

Basic computer skills: Basic knowledge of computer systems and proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, spreadsheets, and PDFs.

Positive attitude: A positive and enthusiastic attitude with a strong work ethic.

Team player: Ability to work well in a team environment and support colleagues as needed.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree
