Civil Litigation Paralegal (Bilingual-Spanish)

Job Overview
We are seeking a part-time or full-time detail-oriented Civil Litigation Paralegal (Bilingual-Spanish) to join our legal team. This is an in person role out of our downtown Raleigh office. This role offers the opportunity to support litigation cases across a variety of practice areas, including personal injury, family law, contract disputes, and more. As a key member of our firm, you will assist attorneys with case management, document preparation, and client communication—all while leveraging your bilingual skills to serve diverse clients effectively. This position is ideal for motivated paralegals eager to grow their expertise in a fast-paced, collaborative environment that values professionalism and proactive problem-solving. The position will require candidate to help with reception roles when not working on litigation cases.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and organize legal case files.
  • Draft, review, and proofread legal documents such as pleadings, contracts, discovery requests, and correspondence with precision and clarity.
  • Assist attorneys with trial preparation by reviewing evidence, organizing exhibits, and coordinating witness interviews in both English and Spanish.
  • Perform client interviews in Spanish to gather pertinent case information while providing exceptional client service with professional phone etiquette.
  • Support litigation processes by managing court filings, tracking deadlines, and maintaining meticulous records within legal case management systems.
  • Provide administrative support through data entry, scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and handling general clerical tasks to ensure smooth office operations.

Requirements

  • Proven paralegal experience with a strong understanding of litigation procedures.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is essential for effective communication with clients and team members.
  • Experience with North Carolina E-filing system and rules.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; proofreading skills are essential.
  • Ability to conduct interviews professionally in both languages while demonstrating empathy and active listening.
  • Experience supporting attorneys through project management tasks such as document review or trial preparation is desirable.
  • Exceptional clerical skills including data entry, filing procedures, phone etiquette, organizational abilities and administrative support experience. Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
