Compensation: $100,000 – $160,000 per year (commensurate with experience)

About the Role

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This is an exciting opportunity for an attorney with a strong litigation background—especially in personal injury, habitability, torts (e.g., negligence), legal malpractice, and breach of contract—to take on challenging and rewarding work in a collaborative environment.

Please Note: Active California Bar admission is REQUIRED for this position. Admission in Nevada is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in all phases of litigation—from case intake through trial and resolution.
• Draft and file high-quality legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Conduct detailed legal research and case analysis using LexisNexis and other tools.
• Handle discovery, depositions, law and motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Advocate for clients in court and during settlement negotiations.
• Maintain open, professional communication with clients, keeping them informed and involved.
• Stay informed on legal developments and evolving case law.
• Manage and organize case files efficiently to ensure deadlines are met.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Current admission to the California State Bar is REQUIRED.
• Admission to the Nevada Bar is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in plaintiff-side litigation or similar field.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
• Proactive, organized, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Willingness to appear in person for court appearances as required.

• Job Type: Contract (Full-Time)
• Compensation: $100,000 – $160,000 per year (based on experience and qualifications)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts
• Work Location: In-person at our Downtown Los Angeles office (90017)
• Travel: Local travel required for court appearances
