Civil Multi Technician – Job Role & Responsibilities
Position Overview:
A Civil Multi Technician is responsible for performing a wide range of civil maintenance, repair, and technical tasks across building, infrastructure, and facilities. The role requires knowledge of civil works, finishing, and minor MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) support to ensure smooth operation and upkeep of premises.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repair works related to masonry, carpentry, painting, tiling, plastering, and concrete.
- Carry out routine inspection of civil structures, flooring, walls, ceilings, doors, windows, and other finishes.
- Assist in minor plumbing and electrical works when required.
- Respond to maintenance requests and rectify civil-related defects promptly.
- Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed to reduce downtime.
- Operate tools, equipment, and machinery safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, sketches, and work orders.
- Report major repair requirements to the supervisor or engineer.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety at the workplace during and after tasks.
- Support project teams in small fit-out, renovation, or refurbishment works.
Skills & Competencies:
- Good knowledge of civil trades (masonry, painting, plastering, tiling, carpentry).
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and workplace safety practices.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical works is an advantage.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.
Educational & Experience Requirements:
- Diploma/ITI/Certificate in Civil or Building Maintenance (preferred).
- 3–5 years of experience in civil maintenance or multi-technical role.
- Experience in facilities management, construction, or building services is desirable.

Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,200.00 per month
