Civil Procurement Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Civil Procurement Engineer to join our procurement team. The successful candidate will assist in the procurement of materials, equipment, and services for our construction projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the preparation of tender documents, RFQs, and RFPs for procurement of materials, equipment, and services.

2. Evaluate and analyze bids, quotes, and proposals from suppliers and subcontractors.

3. Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers and subcontractors.

4. Prepare and manage procurement contracts, purchase orders, and agreements.

5. Coordinate with project teams to ensure procurement aligns with project requirements and timelines.

6. Monitor and track procurement performance metrics, such as lead times, costs, and quality.

7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of procurement transactions, contracts, and supplier information.

8. Collaborate with the supply chain team to resolve any procurement-related issues.

9. Stay informed about market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry developments.

10. Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

2. 3-5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field, preferably in the construction industry.

3. Knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and regulations.

4. Familiarity with construction materials, equipment, and services.

5. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

6. Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.

8. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
