Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Procurement Engineer to join our team. This role involves managing procurement processes for civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and quality systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, process engineering, and quality assurance within manufacturing or construction environments. The Civil Procurement Engineer will collaborate with suppliers, oversee sourcing activities, and ensure that materials and services meet project specifications and regulatory requirements such as AS9100, ISO 13485, FDA regulations, and IATF 16949:2016. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality project execution while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies for civil engineering projects, aligning with project timelines and budgets.
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, delivery, and cost objectives are met.
  • Conduct supplier evaluations, audits, and root cause analysis to address quality issues.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with industry standards including AS9100, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, IATF 16949:2016, and applicable FDA regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process engineering, assembly, and manufacturing to optimize supply chain operations.
  • Utilize tools such as PPAP, APQP, Minitab, and CGMP to analyze data and improve quality systems.
  • Oversee sourcing activities related to mechanical components and civil materials using GD&T principles.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline procurement processes and reduce waste.
  • Maintain documentation for quality management systems and supplier management records in accordance with ISO standards.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives related to supply chain efficiency and quality assurance.

Experience

  • Proven experience in supply chain management or procurement within manufacturing or civil engineering sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of quality systems including AS9100, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, IATF 16949:2016.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as FDA regulations and CGMP standards.
  • Experience with process engineering tools like APQP, PPAP, Root Cause Analysis, Minitab, and AS400 is highly desirable.
  • Mechanical knowledge related to assembly processes and sourcing of mechanical components preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage supplier relationships effectively while ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  • Background in lean manufacturing principles and supply chain optimization is advantageous. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $2,000.00 - $3,000.00 per month
