Role Description

We are seeking a Civil Procurement Engineer with strong experience in civil procurement and in-depth knowledge of materials for infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills with suppliers, be able to work independently, and demonstrate strong attention to detail. Responsibilities include managing the procurement of long-lead items and materials, issuing LPOs, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining cost efficiency and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

Your tasks and responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to:

• Send inquiries to potential suppliers and collect quotations in accordance with project requirements.
• Conduct technical and commercial negotiations with suppliers.
• Prepare comparison sheets and obtain approval from the procurement committee to select the most suitable supplier.
• Issue and send confirmation letters/LPOs to the selected supplier, enabling them to submit materials to the relevant project for consultant approval.
• Support the project team by following up with suppliers on material submittals as needed.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in procurement management within the infrastructure sector, including at least 3 years of relevant experience in the UAE.

• Critical thinking, creativity, decision-making, service-oriented, negotiation, works well under pressure.

Work Location: Abu Dhabi (Head Office)
