Civil Project Engineer

Job Summary:

The Project Engineer will be responsible for coordinating and supervising all engineering and technical aspects of the high-rise building project from start to completion. This includes planning, execution, monitoring progress, and ensuring that all works are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, scheduling, and executing project activities as per project plan.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, method statements, and QA/QC standards.
• Support the Project Manager in tracking progress, preparing reports, and managing project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DM regulations, and safety standards.
• Oversee material ordering, delivery tracking, and inventory on-site.
• Participate in site inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Identify technical issues and assist in implementing effective solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 3~5 years of experience as a Project Engineer in the UAE.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, engineering drawings, and project specifications.
• Familiarity with UAE construction regulations, DM approvals, and local authority requirements.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Primavera etc.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
