Civil Site Designer

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Civil Site Designer to join our innovative engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive site designs that integrate civil engineering principles with creative system and graphic design. Your expertise will help shape functional, sustainable, and visually compelling outdoor spaces and infrastructure projects. Duties

• Create detailed civil site plans using AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Revit, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications
• Develop 3D models and visualizations with SketchUp, Rhinoceros 3D, Grasshopper 3D, and 3ds Max to communicate design intent effectively
• Prepare schematics and technical drawings for construction, system design, and infrastructure development
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on interior design, mechanical systems, and graphic elements to produce cohesive project layouts
• Utilize Bluebeam for document review, markup, and project coordination to streamline workflows
• Conduct site assessments and prepare detailed reports that include grading plans, drainage layouts, and environmental considerations
• Assist in creating 2D animations or visual simulations to present project concepts clearly to stakeholders

Experience

• Proven experience in civil site design or related fields with a strong portfolio demonstrating technical proficiency in CAD-based drafting and modeling software
• Familiarity with SketchUp, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Rhinoceros 3D, Grasshopper 3D, ArchiCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and SolidWorks is highly desirable
• Knowledge of schematics development, construction processes, and system design principles within civil engineering projects
• Experience in graphic design or 2D animation related to architectural or infrastructure visualization is a plus
• Strong understanding of interior design concepts and mechanical design integration within site projects
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
