About the Role
seeking a self-motivated Civil Site Designer/Engineer to join our Raleigh office. This full-time position involves preparing construction documents for residential subdivisions, commercial site plans, and a variety of civil site development projects. This is an excellent opportunity to grow professionally in areas including site layout, stormwater management, grading, utility design, erosion control, and permitting.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop site design plans including layout, grading, storm drainage, water and sanitary sewer systems
• Produce mass grading plans, roadway grades, alignments, and earthwork calculations
• Prepare construction quantity takeoffs and support subdivision layout
• Complete supporting calculations and permitting documents
• Coordinate with internal teams and external clients
• Perform field work and office-based design tasks
• Support multiple projects simultaneously and work independently

Qualifications

• A.A.S. or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 5–10 years of civil site/CADD design experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (2018 or higher), Excel, and MS Word
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with site and construction permitting processes
• Familiarity with reading and applying codes, regulations, and design guidelines
• Ability to manage competing deadlines in a team-oriented environment
• E.I. or P.E. licensure preferred but not required
• Comfortable interacting with clients and the public
• Business development and proposal support experience a plus
