Civil Site Engineer

• Site Supervision & Management: Overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring subcontractors follow drawings, and maintaining safety/quality standards.
• Technical Implementation: Setting out sites (staking out), verifying survey data, and interpreting structural/architectural designs.
• Quality Control: Inspecting raw materials (concrete, steel), conducting tests (slump, cube tests), and ensuring proper curing and workmanship.
• Documentation & Reporting: Preparing daily progress reports, managing material reconciliation, and maintaining site logs.
• Planning & Coordination: Scheduling work, managing resources (labor/machinery), and liaising with consultants, clients, and contractors.
• Problem Solving: Addressing technical challenges, design discrepancies, and delays promptly.

Key Skills for Success:

• Technical Proficiency: Ability to read blueprints, understand construction methods, and use surveying instruments.
• Communication & Leadership: Effectively coordinating with teams and managing laborers.
• Safety Consciousness: Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation.
