Civil Site Engineer / Inspector

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Civil Site Inspector / Engineer to join our Abu Dhabi team.
The candidate will be responsible for site supervision, inspections, and reporting to ensure contractors' works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and authority regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of civil engineering practices and a meticulous eye for quality, safety, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular site visits to monitor and inspect contractor works.
• Verify that construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and authority standards (ADM, ADDC, etc.).
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation.
• Identify and report any non-conformities or deviations, providing recommendations for corrective actions.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to resolve site issues effectively.
• Monitor quality control measures to ensure construction meets COENGR and client expectations.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards at the site.
• Assist in the handover process by reviewing punch lists and final inspections.
• Maintain clear communication between the site team and the design/office team.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in site supervision, preferably in Abu Dhabi or UAE.
• Strong knowledge of local authority standards and approval processes (e.g., ADM, ADDC, ADCD).
• Experience in reviewing and interpreting civil and structural drawings.
• Excellent reporting and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with construction management software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with contractors and stakeholders.
• Immediate availability to join is preferred.
