Civil Site Manager - 220kV GIS

Project Management

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise all civil construction phases of 220kV GIS substation projects
• Ensure project execution as per architectural drawings, structural designs, and approved specifications
• Monitor construction progress against project timelines and implement corrective measures
• Coordinate with electrical teams, architects, and specialized GIS equipment suppliers
• Prepare and submit detailed progress reports and construction schedules

Civil Construction Oversight

• Supervise foundation works for heavy electrical equipment including power transformers and GIS modules
• Oversee construction of control buildings, switch houses, and auxiliary structures
• Manage specialized concrete works with precise dimensional requirements for GIS equipment installation
• Supervise underground cable trenching, duct banks, and drainage systems
• Coordinate construction of perimeter walls, roads, and site development works

Site Operations & Safety

• Implement and maintain comprehensive safety protocols for construction activities
• Conduct regular safety briefings and ensure compliance with construction safety standards
• Coordinate with crane operations and heavy lifting activities for equipment installation
• Ensure proper site logistics, material handling, and equipment storage
• Manage site access control and security arrangements

Quality Control & Standards

• Ensure adherence to IS codes, NBC guidelines, and company quality standards
• Oversee concrete testing, soil investigations, and material quality checks
• Coordinate third-party inspections and quality audits
• Maintain detailed construction documentation and as-built drawings
• Implement quality control measures for critical structural elements

Team Leadership & Coordination

• Lead and manage site civil engineering teams, supervisors, and construction crews
• Coordinate with multiple contractors including structural, architectural, and MEP contractors
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and construction supervisors
• Facilitate effective communication between civil and electrical construction teams
• Resolve construction-related technical issues and design coordination conflicts

Resource & Cost Management

• Monitor and control construction costs, materials, and equipment utilization
• Coordinate procurement and timely delivery of construction materials
• Manage construction equipment deployment and maintenance schedules
• Optimize resource allocation to maintain construction efficiency
• Handle material reconciliation and inventory management

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
