Civil Site Supervisor (Interior Commercial Project)

JOB DESCRIPTION – CIVIL SITE ENGINEER (COMMERCIAL PROJECT)

Salary: 20000-30000
Experience: 2–4 Years
Location: Kasna site 5, Greater noida
Qualification: Diploma/B.Tech in Civil Engineering

Key Responsibilities:1. Site Execution & Supervision

• Oversee day-to-day site activities for commercial construction projects.
• Ensure all work is executed as per drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
• Supervise contractors, labor teams, and subcontractors.

2. Planning & Coordination

• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and project managers.
• Prepare daily/weekly work progress schedules and ensure timely completion.
• Arrange materials, equipment, and manpower required for site work.

3. Quality Control

• Monitor the quality of construction materials and workmanship.
• Conduct inspections for shuttering, reinforcement (steel), concreting, masonry, plastering, flooring, etc.
• Ensure compliance with IS codes and relevant site standards.

4. Measurement & Documentation

• Maintain site reports, measurement books (MB), and daily progress reports (DPR).
• Prepare bar bending schedules (BBS), quantity estimation, and material reconciliation.
• Verify contractor bills and ensure accurate documentation.

5. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure safety guidelines are strictly followed at the site.
• Identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain compliance with statutory and environmental regulations.

6. Problem Solving & Issue Resolution

• Identify site issues and provide technical solutions.
• Coordinate with senior engineers to resolve design discrepancies.
• Ensure smooth workflow and avoid project delays.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of civil engineering construction activities.
• Ability to read and understand architectural & structural drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project reporting tools.
• Good communication and team coordination skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Understanding of material quality standards and safety protocols.
