- Inventory Control
- Maintain accurate records of receipts, issues, and returns of civil construction materials.
- Monitor stock levels and raise requisitions when materials run low.
- Conduct periodic stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Material Handling
- Receive, inspect, and verify materials against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and preservation of cement, steel, aggregates, and other civil materials.
- Track material movement between warehouse and project sites.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare daily/weekly inventory reports using ERP/Bright or Excel.
- Maintain compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Document damaged or rejected materials and coordinate replacements.
- Coordination
- Work closely with site engineers and project managers to forecast material needs.
- Liaise with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of civil materials.
- Support logistics for material distribution across multiple sites.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 2–5 years in civil construction or infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with civil materials (cement, steel, aggregates, formwork, scaffolding).
- Technical Skills: ERP/SAP systems, MS Excel, and basic inventory management software.
- Other Skills: Strong organizational ability, attention to detail, and effective communication.
