Civil/ Structural Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil/Structural Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the analysis, design, and documentation of civil and structural systems for a variety of projects, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for civil and structural projects (steel, concrete, timber, etc.)
• Prepare design calculations, drawings, and technical reports
• Develop construction documents and specifications
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines
• Review shop drawings and respond to RFIs
• Ensure designs comply with local and international codes and standards
• Support project planning, scheduling, and cost control
• Conduct site visits and provide construction-phase support as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
• 9 years of relevant civil/structural design experience
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD, SAFE, RAM, or similar)
• Experience with CAD and/or BIM tools (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.)
• Strong understanding of engineering codes and standards (ACI, AISC, ASCE, Eurocodes, or equivalent)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
