Civil Supervisor

Experience with infrastructure projects in Dubai, in dry utilities & ROW (Right of way) – license required

• Supervise and manage daily construction activities for civil works, including foundation, blockwork, concrete, plaster, tiling, and finishing works for villa and commercial building projects.
• Ensure all construction activities are carried out according to the latest approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Plan, allocate, and manage labor, materials, and equipment on site to maximize productivity and achieve daily/weekly targets.
• Coordinate with the Site Engineer to interpret technical drawings and resolve any site-related discrepancies or clashes promptly.
• Oversee formwork, reinforcement steel fixing, and concrete pouring operations, ensuring all pre-pouring checks are completed correctly.

B. Quality Control (QC):

• Conduct regular inspections of work in progress to ensure superior quality and compliance with project quality plans and material approvals.
• Prepare and raise Inspection Requests (IRs) to the consultant/client for approval of completed work stages.
• Monitor material storage and handling to prevent damage and ensure correct usage on site.

C. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):

• Enforce all company and site-specific safety regulations and protocols rigorously.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks (TBT) and safety inductions for the site team.
• Identify potential hazards and take immediate corrective action to maintain a safe working environment.
• Ensure all personnel wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.

D. Coordination and Reporting:

• Prepare accurate Daily Progress Reports (DPRs) detailing work accomplished, manpower attendance, equipment usage, and any potential delays.
• Coordinate closely with other trades (MEP, Architectural) to ensure seamless workflow and proper sequencing of activities.
• Maintain open communication with the Project Manager/Site Engineer, escalating major issues or variations that could impact cost or schedule.
• Assist in measuring and quantifying completed works for payment application purposes.
