Civil Supervisor

To supervise day-to-day civil works on site, ensure work is done as per drawings and specifications, follow up with subcontractors, and make sure safety and quality standards are maintained. The supervisor must be able to move between sites, so a valid driving license is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily civil works on site (concrete, block work, finishing, excavation, etc.).
• Follow the approved drawings, method statements and specifications during execution.
• Coordinate and follow up with subcontractors to ensure work progress as per schedule.
• Check quality of subcontractors’ work and report any issues to the Site Engineer / Project Manager.
• Monitor manpower, materials and equipment on site and inform the engineer of any shortages.
• Ensure all works are carried out according to safety rules and company HSE policies.
• Prepare and submit daily site reports (work done, manpower, equipment, delays).
• Assist in preparing material requests and follow up deliveries to site.
• Help in marking levels, measurements and setting out works when required.
• Attend site meetings when requested and update the team on progress and site issues.
• Report any variation, rework, or technical problem immediately to the Site Engineer.
• Check that subcontractors’ works are completed before inspections and approvals.
• Support in handover of completed works, snagging and de-snagging.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or related field (preferred).
• Previous experience as Site Supervisor / Foreman in civil construction (UAE experience is an advantage).
• Good knowledge of civil site activities (structural and finishing works).
• Ability to read and understand drawings and basic technical details.
• Strong follow-up and coordination skills with subcontractors and workers.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage).
• Good communication skills in English (Arabic/Hindi/Urdu is an advantage).
• Valid UAE driving license – must be able to visit and supervise different sites.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
