Civil Supervisor – Projects (Oil & Gas EPC)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Civil Supervisor to support EPC execution of onshore/offshore Oil & Gas projects. The role requires strong site supervision capabilities, in‑depth knowledge of civil construction standards, and the ability to manage multi‑discipline interfaces in a high‑performance project environment.

This position suits professionals who demonstrate strong safety leadership, quality focus, and effective coordination skills across EPC teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise civil construction activities including earthworks, excavation, concrete works, foundations, underground works, paving, and structural interfaces
• Ensure all works comply with approved IFC drawings, method statements, specifications, and QatarEnergy standards
• Lead and coordinate civil foremen, workforce, and subcontractors to meet daily and weekly construction targets
• Monitor formwork, rebar, concreting, curing, and backfilling activities in line with QA/QC requirements
• Coordinate with engineering, planning, QA/QC, HSE, and surveying teams to resolve site issues
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and promote safe construction practices at site
• Track progress, report productivity, and support look‑ahead planning
• Support inspections, approvals, and handover documentation

Minimum Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 7-8 years experience in civil supervision within Oil & Gas EPC projects
• Prior experience on QatarEnergy / QP projects is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of civil construction standards, specifications, and best practices
• Ability to read and interpret civil drawings, layouts, and specifications
• Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills

Added Value (Preferred)

• Experience in brownfield or live plant environments
• HSE certifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent)
