Job Summary:

The Civil Technical Office Engineer is responsible for providing technical support to project teams, ensuring accurate planning, cost control, and documentation. This role requires strong experience in substation, power, and industrial projects, with the ability to coordinate between site execution and engineering requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze project drawings, specifications, and contract documents
• Prepare and follow up on shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals
• Coordinate with site teams to ensure proper implementation of drawings and technical requirements
• Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates
• Monitor project progress and prepare periodic reports
• Handle RFIs (Requests for Information) and technical queries with consultants and clients
• Review subcontractors’ submissions and ensure compliance with project standards
• Assist in planning and scheduling activities in coordination with the planning team

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
• +3 years of experience in a Technical Office role
• Willingness and flexibility to relocate within the Western Region of Saudi Arabia.
• Proven experience in substation, power, or industrial projects is highly preferred
• Local Market experience is required
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and standards
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
• Familiarity with Primavera or other planning tools is a plus
