Civil/Structural Engineer

an Engineering Consultancy is seeking a qualified Civil Structural Engineer to join its office in Dubai.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare structural designs, calculations and drawings for residential, commercial and industrial projects.
• Coordinate with architectural and MEP teams.
• Prepare and submit drawings and documents to related Dubai authorities and follow up until obtaining approvals.
• Review structural drawings and conduct site inspections when required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience after graduation.
• Strong experience in structural design and analysis.
• Proficiency in ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000 and AutoCAD.
• Good knowledge of Dubai Municipality codes, requirements and submission procedures.
• Must be eligible to pass the Dubai Municipality technical qualification test.
• Preference will be given to candidates already approved by Dubai Municipality for G+4 or G+12.
• Previous experience in an engineering consultancy firm is preferred.
• Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred.
