Claim Specialist

Job Title: Claims Specialist (Trucking Company )

Company Overview

We are a growing trucking company operating approximately 120 trucks nationwide. We are looking for a strong, detail-oriented professional who can actively manage and fight claims to protect company revenue.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Claims Specialist to handle, investigate, and aggressively defend freight, accident, and insurance claims. This is an in-person position requiring strong communication, negotiation, and documentation skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and investigate accident and cargo claims
• Communicate with insurance companies, brokers, and attorneys
• Collect evidence (dashcam footage, GPS data, driver statements, logs, etc.)
• Dispute and negotiate claim settlements
• Track and manage open claims until resolution
• Maintain organized claim documentation and reports
• Identify patterns to help reduce future claims

Requirements

• Experience in trucking, logistics, or insurance claims (preferred)
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• Attention to detail and strong documentation skills
• Ability to analyze reports and identify inconsistencies
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced transportation environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
