What you’ll do here:

· Manage the claims process from receiving the claim through approval and payment

· Handle all customers with the highest level of professionalism providing world-class customer service

· Provide guidance to customers to facilitate understanding of recommended treatments and associated coverages

· Monitor, track, and report on claims submitted

· Interact with veterinary clinics and customers to ensure timely responses to questions and claim resolution

· Meet or exceed all partner and Companion Protect, LLC standards for timeliness, accuracy, and claims volume

· Document processes and procedures and provide recommendations for improved system processes when applicable

· Evaluate issues outside the scope of claims responsibility but necessary to the process of payment, directing the issues to the appropriate department with follow-up to ensure resolution of the issue resulting in claim payment

· All other duties as assigned

What you’ll bring to the team:

· Insurance Adjuster License (strongly preferred)

· 3+ years of claims handling experience (pet, auto, property, or similar)

· Strong communication skills across phone, email, and chat

· Comfortable learning new systems and technology

· Veterinary clinic or pet insurance experience (strongly preferred)

· Vet tech certification or animal care background (strongly preferred)
