Claims Manager Job Summary

Here at The Maxx Law firm, our focus is assisting our clients with their personal injury claims quickly and fairly, with the utmost care. The Claims Manager oversees the entire lifecycle of the claim, by managing the day-to-day operations from intake to settlement. This position serves as the primary point of contact between the firm and our clients, and provides guidance and support to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient claim processing. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong organizational and communication skills, thrives in a team-oriented environment, and quickly learns and adapts to evolving challenges.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of assigned case load from initial client contact to settlement;
  • Ensure all claims are reviewed, processed, and settled in a timely manner;
  • The ideal candidate is client-focused, highly organized, and empathetic;
  • Develop, implement, and enforce claim policies and procedures;
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients, insurance companies, and other stakeholders;
  • Adhere to ethical guidelines and comply with all state and federal laws governing the practice of law;
  • Must possess the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage workload with minimal supervision;
  • Resolve complex claims issues and disputes;
  • Train and mentor other team members as needed;
  • Take accountability of maintaining all assigned files; and
  • Keep clients updated on the status of their cases and ensure that they understand the actions being taken on their behalf

Claims Manager Requirements and Qualifications

  • Associates degree
  • Experience in claims management preferred
  • Knowledge of insurance regulations and industry best practices preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work independently and on a team level
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Critical Thinking
  • Detail Orientated
  • Bilingual (Spanish) required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $43,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
