Claims Pro

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Claims Pro to join our team. As a Claims Pro, you will meet with insurance adjusters on site, inspect the roof, and advocate on behalf of homeowners that insurance claims are approved and handled fairly.

Responsibilities:

• Perform on-site inspections of residential roofs, evaluating storm-related damage in collaboration with insurance adjusters.
• Act as the homeowner's representative, negotiating and advocating for fair claim settlements.
• Compile necessary documentation, photographs, and reports to support the claim process.
• Use detailed knowledge of hail damage and roofing to advocate effectively for the approval of claims, ensuring customers receive the compensation they are entitled to.
• Work closely with other team members, including contractors and administrative staff, to ensure seamless claim processing.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of latest trends in hail damage, roofing technology, materials, best practices for repair and installation.
• Participate in ongoing training and certification to enhance expertise in roofing, hail damage assessment, and claims adjustment processes.
• Travel to locations where hail storms have been.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, or kneel for extended periods

Work Environment:

• Field- based role with frequent travel to residential properties
• Exposure to outdoor elements, including inclement weather
• Travel based on hail storms. Location may vary. For example, in this past year there was time spent in 3 different cities.

Experience/Requirements:

• 6 months experience in the residential roofing industry or insurance claims processing preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Proficient in using computer systems for data entry and record keeping
• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various locations as needed.
• Willing to travel

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
