From delivery to installation and assembly, demand for these services has grown significantly. How You’ll Work:
Location: Onsite-Amherst NY
Hours: Monday to Friday (8:00 am to 4:30 pm)
Compensation: Compensation: This pay scale represents a good faith estimate of the hourly range the company reasonably expects to pay upon hire for this position: $17 – $21 per hour. A final offer amount will depend on factors such as prior relevant experience, skills, and location.

Job Summary:
Responsible for taking first report calls of accidents from drivers, assigning adjusters as needed, inputting the information into the computer system, notifying third-party administrators of accidents and performing required follow-up on all these functions. Management, analysis and processing of—and reporting on—insurance and self-insurance programs and claims. Risk management personnel manage the company’s risk by analyzing and purchasing risk transfer products, assessing, investigating and settling claims to limit ultimate liability, monitoring and assisting the work of outside legal counsel and third-party claims administrators, and reporting on loss history and trends to safety and operations departments and executive leadership.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Take first reports of accidents and Enter accident information into computer
Obtain and file copies of police reports, photos and other accident-related documents
Follow up on missing documentation regarding the accident
Execute the investigation for root cause analysis and evaluate liability exposure
Set up third-party field adjusters as needed on more serious claims to get to the scene for documentation to preserve evidence
Communicate accident notices to internal clients
Audit each incident report for accuracy and completeness before escalating the claim status
Coordinate information with the company’s insurers and/or third-party administrator
Commence claims adjudication as directed by supervisor
Obtain records timely for evidence preservation in anticipation of litigation
Required Skills:
1-3 years of previous insurance/claims experience

Self-Motivated and Detail-Oriented
Experience with claim management systems and Microsoft Office required
