Responsibilities and Accountabilities Authority on claims below $500,000 in value Communicate with third-party administrator, carriers, and brokers on claim matters Identify and compile claims that need attention prior to regular TPA conferences Analyze policy response and apply workflow to various claims scenarios Enable the Claims-to-Underwriting feedback loop, including drafting weekly reports, high level claim analysis reports, and presentations as requested Monitor incoming communication from clients Assist in training procedures with teammates on claims insights and processes See through claims process from start-to-finish Update claims filing and tracking Monitor and maintain quality of internal claims data Assist brokers and policyholders on escalated issues or claims
Qualifications College degree from a 4-year university required Ability to work in-person at our office in downtown Houston 5 to 10 years experience in commercial property and liability claims Previous team management experience preferred Previous insurance claims management experience required Experience with non-ISO (custom) form policies preferred Experience in excess and surplus lines of business preferred Experience working with managing general agents (MGAs) and claim TPAs Interest in learning about our programs and contributing to our growth
