Claims Warranty Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Claims Warranty Manager to lead our warranty claims and claims management processes across multiple service lines. In this role, you will oversee the resolution of warranty claims, coordinate with various departments, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Your expertise will help streamline operations, prevent fraud, and optimize risk management strategies. Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end process of warranty claims, including review, approval, and denial decisions based on detailed analysis.
  • Lead negotiations with vendors, service providers, and customers to resolve complex claims efficiently and fairly.
  • Conduct thorough risk analysis to identify potential fraud, abuse, or discrepancies within warranty claims.
  • Oversee underwriting procedures to assess claim validity and determine appropriate coverage parameters.
  • Utilize auto estimating tools and auto service management software to evaluate repair costs and service requirements.
  • Implement fraud prevention and detection techniques to safeguard company assets and maintain integrity in claims processing.
  • Collaborate with medical professionals or technical specialists for claims involving medical documentation, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), or mechanical assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with insurance verification standards, medical terminology protocols, and construction inspection guidelines where applicable.
  • Maintain meticulous records using financial software and medical billing systems for accurate documentation and reporting.
  • Develop strategies for risk management related to workers' compensation, auto restoration, mold remediation, water damage restoration, or other specialized services.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in negotiation, insurance verification, or claims management within automotive repair, medical billing, or construction inspection sectors.
  • Strong understanding of underwriting principles, risk analysis techniques, and fraud detection methods.
  • Familiarity with auto estimating software, auto body repair processes, automotive service management systems, and medical coding (ICD-9/10; CPT; HCPCS).
  • Knowledge of workers' compensation procedures, medical terminology, ICD coding systems, Medicare regulations, and HCPCS coding standards.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple claims simultaneously while maintaining accuracy.
  • Analytical skills necessary for detailed review of complex claims involving medical records or technical assessments.
  • Mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair or auto restoration is highly desirable.
  • Clerical experience in handling documentation related to insurance verification or medical records is a plus.

Pay: $48,962.25 - $58,965.29 per year
