Summary

Due to continued expansion we are seeking a skilled Class One Driver to join our team based in Poulton-le-Fylde. This role is vital in supporting our commitment to efficient freight delivery and excellent service. As a Truck Driver, you will play a key part in upholding our company's reputation for reliability The position is for distance work delivering goods through out the UK with an average of 2-4 nights out a week. There will be a requirement for Sunday running usually on a planned rota basis and occasional Saturday run-ins.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks safely and efficiently across designated routes.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods whilst adhering to all safety regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients.
• Follow all traffic laws and company policies.
• Assist with loading and unloading cargo when necessary.
• Qualifications
• Ability to use manual gearboxes
• Valid UK commercial driving license (CPC).
• Proven experience in driving trucks, preferably within haulage or logistics companies.
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to perform vehicle inspections.
• Reliable, with a good work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
