Class 1 Driver UK & European

Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting event and audio equipment from our client based in Buckingham, to their operation in Belgium. You must have at least two years experience of driving Class 1 trucks, a valid passport and enough EU days available to make at least two trips to Belgium each week.

Responsibilities

• You will leave our yard (near Winchester), go to the client to load, head across to Belgium using either the ferry or the train, tip the equipment at their base and then return for a second load. There are an average of two runs per week.
• You are comfortable travelling across the water, are experienced in handling carnets and T1 Forms, and looking for a role that has consistency rather than variety.
• From time-to-time there will be extra runs or other work available, and you should have some flexibility to take on other jobs in our music-touring team as required.
• This is usually a Monday - Friday role, other days may be required.

Qualities

• You should be friendly, communicative with clients, and happy to work alone (this is a single truck job).
• Flexible approach to working, and able to cope with last minute changes.
• Used to dealing with paperwork.
• Ideally located within 30 minutes of SO21 3BG.

Pay: £195.00 per day
