Post: Class 1 Driver (Hooklift)

Location: Lilyhall, Distington, Workington, CA14

Salary: £16.60 per hour plus enhancement for weekend working

Days: Tuesday to Saturday, 8 hours per day

Hours: 40 Hours (with 45 minute unpaid lunch-break.)

Overtime available to meet the business’s operational needs

Main role responsibilities:

• To responsibly and safely drive LGVs, collecting recycling and/or waste products from customers’ sites and taking them to the designated tipping site/location
• To ensure all jobs are recorded electronically on the vehicle tablets & all other paperwork and documentation is completed accurately and submitted were appropriate
• To always operate in a safe manner, following the Company’s safety guidelines and procedures

The work is physically demanding and applicants should be reasonably fit and willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Qualifications / Experience

Essential:

• A driving licence appropriate for driving LGV C+E (Class 1) vehicles
• A valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph driver card
• Previous experience driving LGVs (preferably hooklift)
