Job Title: Class 2 Hooklift Driver/Yard operative

Location: Port Sunlight, Wirral
Hours: 42.5 hours per week (Full-time)
Salary: 14.50 per hour

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 Hooklift Driver/Yard operative to join our team. This is a full-time position offering consistent hours and the opportunity to work within a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating a Class 2 Hooklift vehicle safely and efficiently
• Delivering and collecting skips as required
• Ensuring all loads are secure and compliant with regulations
• Completing relevant paperwork as required
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
• Providing excellent customer service at all times
• Adhering to all health & safety procedures and company policies
• Loading/Unloading vehicles and ensuring materials are handled correctly
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised yard environment

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
• Proven Hooklift experience (essential)
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Good knowledge of driver hours and road transport regulations
• Forklift truck experience preferred
• Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
