Class 2 - Volumetric Concrete Mixer Drivers

Job Summary

Full Time Class 2 Drivers required for concrete deliveries in the West Midlands area using our Mobile Batching Units, operating from our Kingswinford (DY6 7JH) or Cannock depot (WV10 7LX).

We are looking for reliable, trustworthy and self-motivated drivers with a flexible approach and the desire to go the extra mile. The successful candidates will have a really positive “can do” attitude, be willing to get involved and do whatever needs doing. This can be a physically demanding role so a good level of fitness is required.

You will be making deliveries of concrete to a wide range of customers so good customer service skills are essential as you will be interacting with customers and members of the public on a daily basis.

This is a permanent position with a guaranteed basic salary/hours and opportunities for overtime. A bonus scheme is also attached to this role.

Experience of working with volumetric concrete mixers is desirable. Full training will be given for this role but it is well suited to an experienced Class 2 driver with a background of working with hydraulics.

· Guaranteed Hours – 45 hours

· Guaranteed Annual Salary - £39,780

· Annual OTE: £44,000 - £48,000

· Alternate weekend rota

· Holidays: 28 days (inc bank holidays)

· Full PPE uniform provided

· Experience of operating a volumetric concrete mixer is desirable

· You must be able to operate a manual gearbox

· You must hold a full valid HGV Licence with at least 2-years’ experience, and up to date digital tachograph card and CPC qualification.

Note: You must have no more than 3 points on your licence. Please note that we are NOT able to accept candidates with CD, DD, DR/DG, IN or CU80 endorsements
