Job Summary

CDL Class A Delivery Driver

Shift- Monday- Friday 7am- 3:30pm + OT when needed. *Must be willing and able to work until deliveries are completed each day.

This is a CDL Class A position, flatbed tractor trailer with a Moffett on back, loading and unloading delivery orders (lumber and other building materials) to customers and job sites. You will be responsible for safely operating a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW). Moffett experience is a plus! No weekends or overnights.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck
• Physically able to load and unload building materials using a Moffet
• Properly track and document activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect truck before and after trip
• · Our delivery drivers are often the face of PC when delivering to customers. Therefore, being dependable and friendly to customers is a must.

· Safety is of the highest priority to our organization. Drivers must always adhere to the highest of safe driving standards.

· Clear communication with management, supervisors, and co-workers is extremely important.

Qualifications:

• · Previous experience in truck driving or other related fields
• · Commercial driver's license
• · Ability to handle physical workload
• · Strong work ethic
• · Polite and friendly to customers and possess good communication skills with management, co-workers, and dispatch
• · Ability to follow instructions closely and adhere to safety standards
• · Able to sit, stand, lift, and move intermittently during the day
• · Be able to work an average of 40 hours per week with occasional overtime required
• · Clean driving record
• · A polite and professional disposition
• · Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations

• MVR & DOT Physical & Clearinghouse

Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
