CLASS A CDL Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Class A CDL Driver to join our dynamic transportation team! In this vital role, you will operate a Day Cab tractor-trailers commercial vehicles to deliver freight efficiently and safely Locally and throughout NY Metro and parts of New Jersey designated routes. Your expertise in driving automatic transmission trucks will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties

• Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers with automatic transmissions local and metro various routes
• Dock to Dock customer pickup and deliveries
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations
• All Tractors are equipped with electronic logs for driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records in conjunction with our Samsara electronic communication software
• Route driving to meet delivery schedules while adhering to all safety protocols and traffic laws
• Check and secure all loads to prevent damage during transit

Experience

• Proven experience as a commercial truck driver with a valid Class A CDL license
• Demonstrated ability to operate Automatic transmission trucks confidently and safely
• Prior delivery driver experience handling freight preferred
• Familiarity with load & unload procedures and equipment such as forklifts.
• Knowledge of route planning, traffic regulations, and safety standards for commercial driving.

Pay: $28.50 - $33.00 per hour
