Duties

• Operate Class A commercial tractor-trailers with end dump trailers to transport bulk materials across various routes
• Safely load, secure, and unload freight using manual or automated methods, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips; report any maintenance issues promptly to maintain optimal safety
• Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and company policies to meet delivery schedules
• Assist with load & unload operations
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery documentation for compliance and reporting purposes

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with clean driving record
• Proven experience operating tractor-trailers, including end dump trailers; previous experience preferred
• Knowledge of freight handling procedures including load & unload techniques and securing cargo properly
• Experience with route driving across urban or rural areas; ability to plan efficient routes for timely deliveries
• Strong commitment to safety protocols and regulatory compliance in all aspects of driving and cargo management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29.00 - $30.00 per hour
