Class A CDL Driver - Granite Company -Overtime Pay

Avani Granite & Marble, the largest importer, and distributor of Exotic Marble, Quartz & Granite, looking for drivers with CDL (Class A) to do our in/Out of town deliveries. Opportunity to deliver across the United States. We receive whole granite, marble, and quartz slabs from overseas and wholesale to many various shops in the southeast region.

The position is a full time. It is a limited touch freight on a flatbed truck driving a Sleeper/Day Cab Truck. Our customers will unload the trucks with the forklifts and our drivers are responsible for wedging the slabs of granite apart.

Compensation: In addition to base pay, we offer weekly overtime pay, we offer benefits including bi-weekly pay, paid vacation days, paid sick days, health insurance, 401K and other benefits.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Have a current valid Class A DOT license
• Must keep company equipment clean and well maintained
• At least 3 years CDL driving experience

Responsibilities:

• Delivering material in time.
• Communication with sales rep/ customer if the material cannot be delivered at the scheduled time due to traffic, weather, etc...
• Communication with the sales rep in any case where customers reject material due to quality
• Drivers are responsible for having or obtaining a compatible device to use our KeepTruckin Driver ELD and is responsible for maintaining all their daily logs.
• Drivers are responsible for making sure their trucks and trailers are up to all state and federal regulations.
• If there are any problems with any of the vehicles you need to communicate this with the general manager.
• Collect signature on all paperwork.
