Reports to: Senior Project Manager
Status: Non-Exempt | Hourly | Full-Time or Part-Time

Summary

EGM, Inc. is seeking a dedicated CDL Driver to join our industrial services team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, accountability, and customer service while operating and maintaining our fleet of vac trucks and heavy-duty equipment. This role is essential in ensuring the safe and efficient transport of equipment, materials, and waste to and from job sites.

Essential Functions

• Operate and drive heavy-duty vac trucks, trailers, and other vehicles to job sites.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections for safety and compliance.
• Load and unload materials safely and securely.
• Maintain accurate logs of hours, inspections, and service records.
• Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and team members.
• Adhere to all DOT, OSHA, and company safety regulations at all times.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support field operations.

• Deliver equipment and materials on schedule with a strong customer focus.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and promptly report maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals.
• Contribute ideas for process improvements and efficiency.
• Uphold professionalism and integrity, representing EGM positively at all times.

Skills & Qualifications

• Valid CDL (Class A preferred) with a clean driving record.
• Proven CDL driving experience (industrial or heavy services preferred).
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to safety, accountability, and attention to detail.

Work Environment

• Primarily truck-based with exposure to outdoor conditions.
• Frequent work in industrial & environmental environments.
• Must wear personal protective equipment and adhere to all safety protocols.

Travel

• Extensive regional travel required, with overnight stays as needed.
