Job description

Nature Environmental is a fast-paced, growing maritime waste removal company. The company is located near Crosby and is active through the seaports of The State of Texas, collecting solid and liquid waste (products) by means of trucks.

The job will consist primarily of driving and operating commercial and non-commercial vehicles (roll-off, vacuum, tanker, box truck) and liquid transfers.

Skills & Requirements

• Must have valid Class A CDL
• TWIC preferred (must be able to obtain)
• Tanker Endorsement required, Hazardous preferred
• Minimum of 2+ years of commercial vacuum truck driving experience
• Environmental industry experience is a plus but not required
• Will require some weekend and emergency on-call work.
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
• Acceptable Background Check
• Authorized to work in the United States
• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
• Comply with all local, state, DOT, and USCG regulations
• Accurately complete logs, reports, and vehicle inspections daily
• Perform proper loading and unloading procedures
• Communicate both safe and unsafe safety practices to supervisor/manager
• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch
• Ability to frequently lift or carry drum containers, totes, and hoses to truck or vessel, which may result in twisting, pulling pushing, and bending, depending on the material and collection vehicle type
• To be able to climb, bend, or stand for an extended period; in addition, individuals must be able to reach above the shoulders
• Work independently and as a contributing team member

Physical Requirements: You must be able to:

• Lift 65 pounds floor to waist
• Push and pull 30 pounds horizontally
• Carry 30 pounds while walking
• Climb stairs and ladders
• Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) without restrictions
