Responsibilities:

Operate flatbed trucks to transport freight safely and efficiently.
Inspect vehicles for safety and compliance before and after trips.
Secure loads using appropriate equipment and techniques.
Maintain accurate logs of working hours and vehicle service.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding deliveries.
Perform minor maintenance and troubleshooting on vehicles as needed.
Ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining high standards of customer service.

Requirements:

Valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record.
Minimum of 2 years of flatbed driving experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols.
Ability to secure and handle loads properly and safely.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours and travel long distances.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Ability to pass a background check and DOT drug screening.
