Class A CDL HazMat Operations & Production Truck Driver — $70,000 to $80,000 per year, paid hourly DOE

Our organization is offering reliable, long-term employment for a safe driver with operations and production experience to work in our respectful and professional environment, with excellent pay, hours, and benefits.

Paid hourly (*not* per mile) for all time on job, at $22 to $25 per hour, depending on experience, with overtime. Our drivers average 50 to 60 hours per week, for $70,000 to $80,000 per year.

Job Description:

• Typical driver assignments include tanker and flatbed chemical deliveries, along with work in our production operations, including loading, unloading, preparing, blending, sampling, packaging, and storing of chemical products, and additional maintenance as required.
• Our drivers are paid for all time on the job (paid per hour, with overtime — not per mile).
• Minimum $70,000 – $80,000 per year (paid $22 – $25 per hour, plus overtime).
• Average 50 to 60 hours per week, Monday through Friday, all year round, with 2 on-call weekends per month.
• All driving local in California only, 75% within 75 miles of Bakersfield.
• Home every night, except one single-night stay-over per month or less.
• Act in a safe manner at all times, and comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes.

Requirements:

• Must have valid Class A CDL with hazardous materials, tanker, and all other endorsements.
• 2+ years of truck driving experience.
• 1+ years of experience with industrial chemical production operations, process management, and/or quality control.
• TWIC card & 40-hour HAZWOPER training.
• Background check required.
• Must have clean driving record.
• Must attend safety classes weekly.
• Must be clean-shaven every workday to comply with OSHA chemical handling requirements.
