Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Class A CDL Landfill Driver/Semi Driver Manual to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will operate tractor-trailers and various commercial trucks to transport waste materials, recyclables, and other freight safely and efficiently. Your expertise in manual transmission driving, route management, and vehicle handling will ensure smooth operations across landfill sites and delivery routes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to environmental sustainability while honing your driving skills in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

Duties

• Safely operate Class A commercial trucks with manual transmissions tractor-trailers for waste and freight transportation
• Drive route-specific deliveries and pickups, adhering to schedules and safety protocols
• Manage the inspection, maintenance, and daily safety checks of assigned vehicles to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
• Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, delivery records, and vehicle inspections in compliance with company policies
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate deliveries and address any operational issues promptly

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Proven experience operating semi-trucks with manual transmissions in a commercial setting
• Delivery drivers experience preferred, especially involving route driving and load & unload procedures
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to trucking, including DOT compliance and vehicle inspection standards
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers and team members

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
