Class A CDL Overnight Driver

Position: Intermodal - Class A CDL LOCAL Driver, Part-Time

Hours of operation: Monday through Thursday; 7:00PM - 3:00AM (Hours MAY vary)

Pay Range: $28-35 /hr DOE (1.5xs hourly pay rate for any over time.)

Responsibilities and Duties:

× Operate tractor trailer truck safely and efficiently.

× Transporting import/export containers to and from the port terminal/railyard

× Pick up materials on flatbed/containers.

× Maintain log books and safety guidelines.

× Must manually strap and un-strap flatbed.

× Various physical tasks related to truck and container operation

Qualifications and Skills:

× Must have a valid, clear Class A commercial driver license

× Must be able to operate a manual transmission

× Good driving history

× Ability to pass a drug test, background check, and Motor Vehicle Check*

× Experience with handling 20-40 foot containers - REQUIRED

× Inter-Modal Experience (port terminal/railyard) - REQUIRED

×* TWIC CARD - REQUIRED*

×* PORT EXPERIENCE - REQUIRED*
