Class A CDL Truck Driver

*** Looking for a driver located in Savannah, GA ***

Responsibilities:

- Home daily. Local Routes. Some evenings and occasional Saturday.

- Must be skilled with backing and have good safety habits.

- Experience preferred with Walking Floor and Tipper Trailer

- Must be able to climb on top of Tipper Trailer.

- Follow assigned routes and schedules for efficient delivery and pick-up of goods.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing any inquiries or concerns.

Experience:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a truck driver.
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL Class A)
- Familiarity with route driving and navigating through different areas.

Skills:

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL Class A)
- Proven experience in route driving and commercial driving.
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics to address minor issues that may arise during transportation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries and pick-ups.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $1,100.00 - $1,300.00 per week
