Class A CDL Truck Driver Winch or Flatbed/Stepdeck

Job Summary
We are seeking skilled and reliable Class A CDL Truck Drivers to join our team in Killdeer, ND. The ideal candidate will have experience in various types of truck driving, including but not limited to winch truck or flatbed, and stepdeck operations. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. A strong commitment to safety and customer service is essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles including tractor-trailers, winch trucks, and/or flatbeds/stepdecks.
• Safely load and unload freight using forklifts or other equipment as necessary.
• Plan routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that may occur during transport.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
• Follow all safety protocols while driving and handling freight.

Qualifications

• Valid class A commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Experience with 18-speed manual transmission vehicles is required.
• At least 1 year of Winch Hand experience OR Flatbed/Stepdeck experience.
• Previous experience driving in the oilfield is highly desirable.
• Basic knowledge of oil field location safety regulations.
• Strong knowledge of load safety, strapping, chaining, and securing loads.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
