Class A Commercial Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail oriented Class A Commercial Driver to join our fueling team. In this vital role, you will operate a variety of heavy-duty trucks, including tractor-trailers, bobtail tankers, and double tankers to deliver fuel efficiently and safely across designated routes. As a Class A Commercial Driver you will be responsible for taking care of your assigned vehicle and its equipment. This position

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A tankers with manual transmissions for 10-14hr days.
• Load and dispense fuel using proper techniques, ensuring safety and cleanliness.
• Drive various vehicle types including bobtails, double tankers, and tractor-trailers.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify maintenance needs or safety issues.
• Record detailed and accurate logs of deliveries and route details on our online mobile application and physical paper logs.
• Safely load fuel at local refineries following refinery specific regulations and Rubio's specific instructions.
• Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe driving and fueling practices at all times.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a valid Class A CDL license with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Physical ability to lift and carry 25 points for 5-25min durations.
• Strong professional demeanor, attention to detail, and problem solving skills.
• Ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently and efficiently.
• Experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is highly desirable.
• Skilled in load & unload operations and using equipment like forklifts safely.
• Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance with DOT regulations.

Pay: $25.00 - $38.00 per hour
