Duties

• Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers, including tanker, flatbed, refrigerated trailer, dump truck, roll-off truck, and other freight vehicles
• Load and unload cargo efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or manual methods
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations
• Deliver goods to designated locations along assigned routes, adhering to scheduled timelines and route plans
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports for each trip
• Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure personal safety and that of others on the road
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly

Skills

• Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles with route driving responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of manual transmission operation and tractor-trailer handling techniques
• Ability to load & unload saltwater
• Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance with DOT regulations
• Skilled in maneuvering large vehicles in various environments, including tight spaces and loading docks
• Experience with freight management systems and documentation procedures for commercial trucking operations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1,400.00 - $2,000.00 per week
