POSITION OBJECTIVES:

To deliver a variety of lumber and building materials to customer job sites in a safe, prompt and professional manner.

MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

*Pull & deliver loads with 100% accuracy.

*Load & unload delivery trucks

*Deliver material to jobsites in an efficient and professional manner.

*Assist customers in loading their purchases.

*Adhere to safety policies and procedures.

*Perform related work as apparent or assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required:

*High school education or equivalent.

*Possession of a commercial driver's license (CDL).

*Must be willing to learn to drive a moffet / boom truck

*Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with a wide variety of customers, company personnel, and others.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:

*Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.

*Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
