Class B Dump Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating dump trucks on construction sites and possess a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation. As a Dump Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in transporting materials to and from job sites, ensuring that projects run smoothly and efficiently.

Duties

• Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as dirt, gravel, and construction debris to designated locations.
• Collaborate with construction teams to understand material needs and delivery schedules.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate logs of materials transported and delivery times.
• Assist in loading and unloading materials as needed, utilizing heavy equipment such as backhoes or bulldozers when required.
• Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with safety standards and regulations on the construction site.

Skills

• Proven experience operating dump trucks in a construction environment.
• Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, including Caterpillar machinery and tankers.
• Ability to dig, build, and perform basic maintenance on equipment.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols related to commercial driving and construction site operations.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and supervisors.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
