Class B Mixer Driver Automatic Trucks

POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Plant Manager, the Mixer Driver will operate ready mix trucks between plant locations and customer sites.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

* Perform daily preventative maintenance (fueling, tire/light inspection, checking/adding fluids etc.)

* Use water hoses to clean mixer between loads

* Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections

* Visually inspect the consistency of concrete in mixer

* Communicate and direct verbally through two-way radio or with hand signals

* Provide appropriate documentation on delivery tickets

* Ensure all delivery tickets are signed and returned

* Exercise good judgment regarding unloading and operation to and from site

* Maintain good customer relations

* Assist in training of co-workers as needed

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
* Must possess a Class B CDL license or better
* Maintain an active DOT qualification
* Ability to perform well in a “TEAM” environment
* Self-motivator

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
* Lift objects of various dimensions and weights
* Ability to climb stairs and ladder, reach, squat, balance, push and pull objects
* Ability to tolerate working in all environmental temperatures and weather

Compensation:

$21.00-28.00 per hour solo driving (based on experience and qualifications)
